Hand carved here in New Zealand, the Taiaha is a long fighting staff as opposed to a spear, used for short sharp strikes or stabbing thrusts.
The blade end was used to deliver blows to the body and head.

Engraving can be done along the shaft but please note there is not a lot of room available.
