Jenny's Tamarind Chutney is one of our all time favourite chutneys with it's spicy, sweet and tangy flavour, the Medium chutney won the 2012 Cuisine Artisan Award. Mild is my personal favourite.
This chunky chutney is fabulous with cheese, on a ploughman's lunch, with meats, on a pizza base, in rissoles, as a dip, on chicken, the list goes on.

The Tamarind tree is a large canopy tree indigenous to tropical Africa where is grows wild. It is widely distributed throughout the
tropical belt. Its fruit are legume, some times called pods with a hard brown shell. The fruit is a fleshy, juicy pulp, used extensively
in cuisines around the world.
